 UNIT FOUR is very large.  It will be broken into several parts, starting with WORLD WAR I= Unit 4 label on support book.

Your Marking period project is based on ---TO BE ESTABLISHED--.  You have seen a powerpoint in class on the topic.  Below is a video with actual footage of WWI trenches and eyewitness accounts from soldiers who had fought in the war.  Watch it to gain more of an insight from the point of view of a soldier.  Additionally, the cover page of your new support booklet has many movies you can watch, with your parents permission, to get a better understanding of the topic.

8th Grade Projects

There will be a project for each marking period.  Each project is worth 15% of your overall grade each marking period, basically 15 report card grade points.  Projects are given out in class, reviewed in class, and expected to be completed at home by the due date.  Late projects will suffer a loss of points:

10points 1day

15points 2nd day

20points 3rd day

Beyond 3 days late project will receive a pass/fail grade.
